What Compendium Tokens are, plainly: closed-loop store credit, denominated in US dollars, spendable only on Compendium products. They are not a cryptocurrency, they are not tradeable, they carry no ownership in anything, and they do not track the value of the company. Every token you earn is written to a hash-chained ledger, so the number in your account cannot be quietly changed. Promotional Tokens carry a twelve-month expiry, which is shown on the grant; Tokens you earn as commission do not expire.
